HOW TO GET A GREEN JOB

For many people nowadays, the ideal job is a 'green' job - doing something to protect the environment. But what is a green job ?
Most people think of a green job as working for an environmental organisation like Greenpeace, the Worldwide Fund for Nature or others. But any job can be green.
Plumbers can re-use old pipes and fittings instead of throwing them away; company accountants can make sure their companies don´t contribute to global warming through overheating their offices or letting executives do too much travelling on planes or in cars that burn up fuel; you can work for the media and specialise in environmental issues.
What´s really important is commitment: join a local club, for a start, and work for an environmental group as a volunteer first.
